How Did You Become Interested In The Paranormal?

I became interested in the paranormal about three years ago when an Army buddy of mine told me he was watching a TV show called Ghost Hunters. I started watching it, because the idea of ghosts piqued my interest. As I learned more and more about paranormal investigating and the idea that something out there  may exist, I became very interested in learning more about the science of paranormal investigating. I became friends with an EVP tech who has become a close friend and mentor to me, and he continues to teach me new techniques and about new technology.

I consider myself an “open-minded” skeptic. I’m in no way a believer that ghosts exist with complete certainty. I feel that there is a possibility, because as we all remember from high school Physics; Energy cannot be created or destroyed. So of course, when we die,
where does our energy go? That’s not known. I think that there is pretty convincing evidence available to support the idea of “ghosts” and “haunting”, but I will not say for certain of ghosts exist until I have one standing in front of me saying, “Hi, I’m a freakin’ ghost.” I pulled the trigger on becoming a paranormal investigator when my mentor said to me; “Stop asking me so many questions. Get out there, find out for yourself. Get your hands dirty.” I thought about that for a while. The military has made me into a seeker of knowledge and fact, so it seemed absurd that I hadn’t considered this option before. Why not join an investigation team? So I did! And I encourage anyone to do the same. If you have an interest, and are willing to throw all your energy into it, seek out a paranormal investigation team in your area. Conduct research, participate in investigations, and above all…

GET YOUR HANDS DIRTY.
